I spent a ton of money joining a board of Real Estate in the state I'm licensed, in but don't live in. I had clients in the pipeline, but their underwriting caused me big delays in getting my clients through. Then you are thrown in the fish bowl to swim!! Be prepared to be locked out of everything in about 4 -5 days after starting. The problem is there were about 170 new agents in my class, so hard to get your questions answered. They also don't care about you as an Agent having outside clients & needing to assist them as well during the day. This is NOT easy sales and is NOT the gilts & glam they advertise this job to be. The HBA program is actually good for future sellers but MV Realty should invest in actual warm leads to set their agents up for success! Real Estate Agents are not Tele-Marketers, period! MV also need to invest in better systems, to help their agents make money, as it will benefit them in the long in. They only referred me back to the Call Rail service, which would only refer me back to MV Management because they couldn't figure out the issue. And the management team couldn't figure out why I wasn't receiving calls. Its very janky (low performance) and the inbound calls they hound you about signing up for are a JOKE! IF!! I received these "so called" warm calls, they would disconnect before I could even say hello. you do have expectations to meet to be eligible for the draw. & they will hound you if they feel you aren't making enough calls. I've placed over 100 plus calls and was hung up on, cursed out or not answered on majority of those calls. They can be very misleading regarding the type of calls being made and how they aren't micro-managing when in fact the calls are NOT warm calls. ![]()
